Get Started

New here? Three steps and you're in.

1. Get the CurseForge app and choose Minecraft.
2. Download the pack, then in CurseForge Create Custom Profile → Import the zip — it installs NeoForge 21.1.227 + every mod, already current at 3.13 (fresh installs need no hotfixes):
   Homestead V3 (NeoForge) — 3.13
3. Hit Play, then Multiplayer → Add Server with address homestead.fritzytech.com and join. (First connect can take ~2 min to wake the server.)

Already on V3? Run the v4 hotfix to match the current server — Create 6.0.10 + Create Encased (encased drills & saws), Extra Gauges, Deployer, Shuffle Filter & Enchantable Machinery — plus the Cute n Cozy look, shaders (Iris), Sodium, dynamic lights, Freecam & 3D Skin Layers.

First: in CurseForge bump the loader to NeoForge 21.1.227 (profile → Loader), then fully close Minecraft. The hotfix stops and reminds you if you skip this step.

V4 Family Hotfix (Create 6.0.10 + Cozy + Shaders)

v5 (run after v4): adds Block Pops (collectible figures), grow/shrink mushroom potions, the Create Jetpack, and Twigs (stone mosaics & bricks). Required to join the current server. (Chisels & Bits — the "pixel" mod — is coming in a later update.)

V5 Family Hotfix (Block Pops + Mushrooms + Jetpack + Twigs)

v6 (run this after v5): updates the Atlas mod to add Freddy — an autonomous helper NPC who chops & replants trees, crafts his own tools, mines, smelts stone & glass at a furnace, and builds himself a cottage. Required to match the current server.

V6 Family Hotfix (Freddy the helper NPC)

v7 (superseded by v8): meet Dante — a helper NPC who takes orders in chat ("dante, go mine me diamonds"), goes on real mining expeditions, learns routes through your builds, and fetches shopping lists via his craftable Clipboard. The server already runs it, so you can't connect until you apply this one. Run after v5/v6.

V7 Family Hotfix (Dante arrives — required)

v8 (superseded by v9): adds JCSMP Pops by FoxyNoTail — collectible figures of the Just Create SMP members — and includes everything from v6/v7 (Dante, his Clipboard, chat orders). Already on v7? This just adds Pops. Coming from v5? This one run catches you all the way up.

V8 Family Hotfix (Pops + Dante — required)

v9 (superseded by v10): Homestead Pops — collectible figures of the FAMILY (Drew, Cassie, Logan, Ayden, Aurora, Dante & Freddy) made from your real skins! Craft a Pop Box with Create cardboard around a cake, crack it open, collect everyone. Includes everything from v7/v8 (Dante + JCSMP Pops) and fixes pop stock-clerks losing their seat. One run catches any client all the way up.

V9 Family Hotfix (Homestead Pops — required)

v10 (superseded by v11): fixes the kitchen-Slicer server crash (Slice & Dice 4.3.2 + Create Encased 1.9.0) and includes everything from v9: Homestead Pops, JCSMP Pops, and Dante. One run catches any client all the way up — please update before joining.

V10 Family Hotfix (crash fix — required)

v11 (superseded by v12): fixes the loot-backpack crash (Sophisticated suite updated) AND the kitchen-Slicer crash, plus everything else: Homestead Pops, JCSMP Pops, Dante & his Clipboard. Note: v11's installer had a bug that failed with "Hash mismatch" — grab v12 instead, it's fixed.

V11 Family Hotfix (crash fixes — required)

Homestead 3.12 (superseded by 3.13): (new version naming — this is what the hotfixes were called all along: pack generation 3, update 12). point a Create Display Link at any Sophisticated Storage chest and pick "Slots Used %" for an honest how-full gauge. Plus: one-click updates — from now on a ★ button appears on the title screen when a new hotfix is out; one click downloads it, closes the game, installs, and tells you to relaunch (this is the last update anyone applies by hand). Also fixes the v11 installer's "Hash mismatch" bug. Cumulative — one run catches any client all the way up.

Homestead 3.12 (gauges + one-click updates — required)

Newest — Homestead 3.13 (THE QUEST BOOK): FTB Quests joins Homestead! Open your inventory for The Homestead Saga — a welcome gift for everyone, kid-friendly scout quests, and the five-skull Dead Lord's Due questline (the axe comes last). On 3.12? Just launch the game and click the ★ button on your title screen — it updates itself. This download is the backup path.

Homestead 3.13 (quest book — or use the ★ button!)

Atlas (AI assistant) is built in to V3 — press J to open chat, hold H for push-to-talk, press L for the lore book.
