Rules to NOT get overwhelmed
- One phase at a time. Don't read ahead. The next box is the only box.
- One project open at a time. Finish it before starting the shiny new thing.
- The quest book is optional. This list is your quest book.
- Only two real chores exist: power and storage. Everything else is play.
- If a recipe needs 5 new machines, jot them down and build ONE.
- Ugly base = fine. Function first, pretty later (the megabase phase).
- Split the list. You're two people — you don't each do every task. Divide and conquer.
- Bored or stuck? Do "Today's one thing," then stop. That's a win.
Two-Player Playbook
- One shared base, one shared everything. One power grid, one ME network, one farm field — both of you tap them. Don't build two of each.
- Waystones are your best friend. Drop one at base on day one so you can both warp home and meet up fast.
- Stay in voice/chat. Call out "I've got power, you take farms" so you're not both building the same thing.
- Wireless terminals for both. Once AE2 is up, you each carry one — shop the whole base from your pocket, anywhere.
Drew — Systems & IndustryAE2 network, the power grid, autocrafting — and leaning into Immersive Engineering (steel, big multiblocks, the grimy industrial look).
Cassie — Growth & CreateMystical Ag farms, food, base building — and Create contraptions, powered straight off Drew's grid (no water wheels needed).
Totally swappable — trade jobs whenever. The point is you each own something so neither of you is doing all of it.
Tip: exact recipes shift between pack versions — lean on JEI/EMI in-game (and the AE2 / Mystical Ag guidebooks). This is the map, not the recipe sheet. Click any task to check it off — it saves automatically.
